Getting Help

MyOwnLifeOS is a personal project, not a commercial product with a support desk. That said, questions and bug reports are welcome and we read every one.

Email [email protected] for anything related to your account, connected applications, or the Service itself. We typically respond within a few business days. There is no guaranteed response time or uptime SLA.

What to Include in a Report

The more of this you can supply, the faster the fix:

Please do not paste passwords, API keys, or OAuth tokens into a support email. We never need them.

Common Issues

Sign-in fails or loops back to the login page. MyOwnLifeOS signs you in with Google OAuth. Confirm you are using the Google account tied to your invite, then clear cookies for this site and try again. If signup is in invite-only mode, an account without a valid, unexpired invite cannot be created.

A connected app is not showing data. Connections are opt-in and default to OFF. Check your connection settings and confirm the application is connected. MyOwnLifeOS queries connected apps in real time, so if the source application is down or you are signed out of it, results will be empty.

Changes are not appearing. Reload the page with a hard refresh. Pages are served with no-store headers, but a proxy or an installed home-screen app can still hold an older copy.

An app works on its own but not through MyOwnLifeOS. That is expected and by design. Every application works independently without MyOwnLifeOS. Connecting is optional, and severing a connection never breaks the underlying app.

Account and Data Requests

MyOwnLifeOS is a consent router. It stores only your account record and routing metadata, which is the list of applications you have connected. It never stores your emails, meeting notes, diagrams, code, or calendar events.

To sever a connection, use your connection settings. The change takes effect immediately.

To delete your account and its connection metadata, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with.

Content held inside a connected application is governed by that application, not by MyOwnLifeOS. Deleting your MyOwnLifeOS account does not delete data in those applications.
